Saint-Gobain Ceramic Materials' CRE Slurries are water or oil-based rust-inhibited slurries designed to be compatible with most conventional abrasives.  Saint-Gobain offers CRE slurries in many different abrasive types include tightly sized calcined alumina, fused alumina, silicon carbide, boron carbide, colloidal silica, zirconia, and cerium oxide.

Our team of scientists and engineers has designed a wide selection of slurries and vehicles that allow our customers to control their own processing time while maintaining their critical surface finish requirements.  With more than 50 years of product research, development and field-testing, Saint-Gobain has the knowledge, expertise and experience to help our customers find solutions to their lapping and polishing needs.  We have a well-equipped lapping and polishing laboratory where CRE slurries are developed and tested against customer’s samples to meet or exceed customer expectations.
